  I've been to Carbone's 4 times in the past few months. Every time, every meal ordered by folks at the table was truly good. Not just okay, but good enough to make you want to go back and bring your friends. Tonight was no different. There were five of us dining: the lobster dip with home-made tortilla chips was simply delicious: the dip was full of lobster and the chips crisp. One person at the table had a fried seafood plate: this is the kind of light batter that we've not seen in other area places. Three of us had the Parmesan-crusted haddock over risotto. The fish was perfectly cooked; the crust crunchy; and the risotto smooth. (This was my third time ordering/eating the haddock and my experience has been the same each time.) Someone ordered a crab meat with peas and pasta dish; it was share-worthy and she took leftovers home with her. Carbone's is a relatively new restaurant, so I don't know what's up with negative posts that look to be from several years ago. In my opinion, the food is better than most restaurants around. The restaurant is located right on Rte 17 and there is no quaint view, but if you are planning to eat inside (with air-conditioning), a great view isn't much of a draw. Each time I've been, the service has been attentive and the food has not only been well prepared, but also a good value. I've only ordered off the regular menu, but there are also daily specials, which look like they would be great choices also.
